"Alcoholics Anonymous is a fellowship of men and women who share their experience, strength and hope with each other that they may solve their common problem and help others to recover from alcoholism. The only requirement for membership is a desire to stop drinking.

A BTG Volunteer connects with an individual being discharged from a treatment facility in order to "bridge the gap" between their treatment program and Alcoholics Anonymous. BTG volunteers usually try to get the individual to a meeting within the first 24 hours of discharge.
Would you like to know more about how you can help carry our message of recovery to alcoholics behind the walls?
